After years of working recruitment and HR Management we grew tired of companies complaining how hard it is to find good talent. The reason this is, is that 85% of the workforce, while open to new opportunities, have not been given a tool that makes it easy for them to source new opportunities - so they rely on being contacted by recruiters. Using external recruiters is very expensive and unafforable for most businesses. So we created our platform that makes it easy for any company to engage and recruit this hidden talent pool at a fraction of the price of using recruiting agencies.
In our market research, 70% of the time a candidate spends applying to a job goes to researching that company to see if it is a place they want to work. As one candidate said "Finding a job is a full-time job". This lengthy process tends to favor those who have time to complete it, the unemployed. So we re-engineered the search and apply process around the people that are curious if the grass is greener elsewhere, but don't have the time or want to risk the trial-and-error that comes with pursuing a new opportunity based on a job description that is 90% recycled from other job posts. So while job boards have been optimized to help employers find people (it's not working too well) we decided to approach the problem from a different angle - let's make it easy for people to find the right company. People are not robots, they don't find their happiness in just the work they do, it comes from the sense of purpose it gives them. This can not be determined in a one-page black-and-white job description - so we give companies the ability to showcase who they are, what they're all about and why someone would want to work for you and not the 300 other companies hiring for the same position.
Benefits of using Wenn include getting to know employers better through video content; finding the perfect fit through two-layered matchmaking; saving time & effort due to its fast & easy process; accessing 85% of hidden talent not available on job boards; providing companies tools to stand out from competitors, engage with video content features tailored directly to each job offering; and enabling access to qualified passive candidates quickly without relying on extensive searching & recruiting.
If you are a job seeker, we will be releasing our mobile application in the coming weeks. If you are a company looking to recruit better candidates, simply fill out the contact form and a member of our team will reach out to you ASAP.
Just a small team of people that believe the best way to build a happier workforce is to focus our efforts on helping the people that comprise the workforce. What is a company besides an amalgamation of people?
